What We Offer

Boarding & Daycare

We are a small family-owned business down a dirt road, surrounded by 13 acres, yet just 5 miles from the center of Mountain View, Arkansas. You will find a safe, loving, and clean facility with a country feel at Country Pet Playground. Since 2017, we have provided dog boarding with a social and/or play-time focus. I have no issues with catering to dogs that are not social with other dogs, as long as they can handle seeing them without having meltdowns.

Our indoor building is 1,500 square feet and is temperature-controlled. We have 9 high-quality kennel suites that vary in size and have raised beds from Kuranda. My building features an open-concept design, with the runs on each side separated by 4-foot hallways for safety. The middle of the room is the play area.

The outdoor play area is approximately 8,000 square feet, enclosed by a 6-foot-high secured fence. We have doggie playground equipment for them to run, jump & play on! About a dozen balls to play fetch. I also have a lure course from Swift Paws that I set up frequently, weather permitting.

The daily schedule is routine, with several hours of playtime in the morning starting at 6:30 AM & several hours in the afternoon. Breakfast is around 7:30 AM & dinner is around 4 PM. Down time is just as important as play, so there are typically two naps during the day, each lasting about an hour. With one person running daily operations seven days a week, the schedule is vital to maintaining an organized workflow, not just for the business but also crucial for her personal life. Daycare is offered on Mondays & Wednesdays. This service is only offered on these days because there are boarding dogs 7 nights a week, who basically get daycare while they are here. Remember, this place is operated by one person seven days a week!

Do-It-Yourself Dog Wash & Groom

For several years, Karissa & Marina provided grooming services. Due to health reasons, Karissa had to stop & Marina moved out of the state. She invested in professional equipment that she doesn't want just sitting around & uses for her own personal fur kids, so a DIY option for the community was her solution. This is especially great for any boarding fur kids at check out!

You will be provided with the appropriate products specifically for your dog's coat type, with access to a professional bathing tub (it can handle up to 200 pounds!), a large hydraulic grooming table with the grooming poles/loops, a high velocity blow dryer (one of the best on the market) & every brush, comb & rake needed. BONUS: I DO THE CLEAN UP!! VACCINES ARE REQUIRED

Intact Males: $7 added fee PER NIGHT

This covers extra expenses incurred for cleaning supplies, time & patience. Aggressive intact males are not able to board here; that decision will be made at the meet & wag.
